25th Annual Rio Grande Arts & Crafts Holiday Festival
Mark your calendars—one of Albuquerque’s most beloved Thanksgiving weekend traditions is almost here! The Rio Grande Arts & Crafts Holiday Festival returns November 28–30 from 10 AM to 5 PM at Expo New Mexico. Admission costs $10 for a single day or $15 for a three-day pass, making it easy to return as often as you’d like. This award-winning event—recently ranked #10 in the nation by Sunshine Artist Magazine—features 175 juried artists and craftsmen, live music, festive food sampling, and plenty of inspiration for the season. River of Lights at the ABQ BioPark
Another one of our favorite events of the year, the beloved Albuquerque tradition that lights up at the end of the month! The River of Lights returns to the ABQ BioPark Botanic Garden from November 29 to December 30, 2025 (closed December 24 and 25), with two Low Sensory Nights on December 1 and January 2. Gates are open from 5:00 to 10:00 PM, with last entry at 8 PM. Presented by TLC Plumbing, Heating, Cooling, and Electrical, this magical 1-mile walk features over 700 hand-welded light displays, larger-than-life 3D sculptures, animated scenes, and millions of sparkling lights. It’s New Mexico’s largest and most iconic walk-through holiday light experience, perfect for making unforgettable memories with loved ones.
